Brightling Park is a beautiful country estate situated the heart of the Sussex Weald and is the ideal place to train National Hunt horses. Being one of the highest points in East Sussex, you cannot go anywhere without going up or down a hill – ideal for ensuring maximum fitness of the horses. With over 1,000 acres of parkland and woodland to exercise around; horses do not get bored of the same routine.

Facilities include:

  • Steep all weather gallop and grass canters
  • Superior schooling grounds: hurdles, fences, 4 levels of cross-country jumps and all weather menage
  • Acres of forest rides and countryside without traffic
  • The yard consists of ventilated stables, horse walker, weighing machine, lunge-ring and paddocks for regular turn out.

With all of these amenities it is easy to give every horse a unique training programme that is designed to fit each individual’s requirements.
